Stand

By 21 Days of Prayer, Daily Bread No Comments

“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” – Ephesians 6:10

You have repented. You have been in the Word. You have been praying. You have done everything you know to do. And the battle is still raging. What do you do now? You stand. Not in your own strength, because that will run out. You stand in Christ, in the authority He has already given you, in the faith that He is working even when you cannot see it. Standing is not passive. It is one of the most active, courageous things a believer can do. Here is something else worth knowing: when the enemy starts fighting you harder, it does not mean you are going the wrong direction. It often means you are going exactly the right one. Resistance is not a sign to retreat. It is a sign to keep moving. And as you stand, open your mouth and praise. Praise is a weapon. Throughout Scripture, praise came before the victory, not after. When you worship God in the middle of the battle, something shifts. Faith rises. The atmosphere changes. God moves. You are not fighting for victory. You are fighting from it. Christ has already won. Your job is to stand firm in what He has already done, keep praising, keep praying, and trust that He who began a good work in you will see it through.

Reflection

What would it look like for you to stop striving in your own strength and instead stand firm in the victory Christ has already secured?

Quote

“After you prayed, after you’ve worshiped, after you pray, stand. Stand in faith, stand in forgiveness, stand in your authority, stand in prayer and stand in praise.”

Prayer

Lord, when I am tired and the battle feels long, remind me that the victory is already Yours. Help me stand firm, keep praising, and trust You completely. Amen.
