A Church for the Community

We believe the best is yet to come for Macon. God has strategically placed us in the heart of Middle Georgia with a purpose to reach the lost and hurting with the life-giving message of Jesus. We are a multi-generational, multi-cultural church all about building families, building community, and transforming lives.

Our Pastors

Our lead pastors, Jordan & Camylla Battani, have a heart to reach our city and beyond with the life-giving message of Jesus. When lost people come to know Jesus and believers hearts are stirred a community is transformed.

Jordan first joined the Fall Line staff in 2012 and has served as Senior Pastor since 2021.

Jordan is an Atlanta native and Camylla was born in Brazil and raised in San Diego, California. They moved back to Macon in 2018 with a heart to see God move in our city. Together they have three boys, Ezra, Carson, and Grant. They believe the best is yet to come for Middle Georgia and it all begins with Jesus.

Core Values

Jesus is our message.

The purpose of the church is to proclaim the good news of Jesus. Methods may change, but the message remains the same. Everything we do comes from our foundation in Jesus.

(Colossians 1:28) Christ is our message! We preach to awaken hearts and bring every person into the full understanding of truth.

01

People are our heart.

We exist to reach all people. We lead with love and honor toward others. We are a multi-generational, multi-cultural church, and we stop at nothing to reach the lost and hurting with the life-giving message of Jesus.

(John 15:12) My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.

02

Generosity is our privilege.

We see generosity as not something we have to do but something we get to participate in. We give because He first gave to us. We lead with generosity in our time, talent, touch, and treasure.

(1 Chronicles 29:14) But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.

03

Excellence is our pursuit.

We will always do the best with what we have! It is not about being perfect but about passionately doing everything to the best of our ability.

(Colossians 3:17) And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

04

Joy is our attitude.

We choose joy no matter what. Our joy is not dependent upon feelings because the source of our joy is not found in our circumstances but our savior. We have fun and celebrate the wins along the way!

(Psalm 122:1) I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go into the house of the Lord.

What We Believe

The Word of God
We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible authoritative Word of God. Inspired by the Holy Spirit it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20,21; Matthew 5:18; John 16:12-13; Hebrews 4:12.)

Creation
We believe that God created the heavens and the earth, including all life, by direct act. We believe that man was created directly by and in the image of God. (Genesis 1:1; John 1:3; Colossians 1:16,17)

The Trinity
We believe in one God revealed and manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3: 16,17; Matt. 28:19; 1Peter 1:2; John 17)

Sin
Although man was created in the image of God, he fell into sin and became lost; this is true of all men, and except a man be born again by the Holy Spirit, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. (Genesis 1:26, 27; John 3:3; Romans 3: 10, 23)

Salvation
We believe in the saving power of the blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed righteousness to all who believe on Him. Salvation is obtained by grace, not by works or achievements. It requires repentance of sins and confession of Jesus as Lord. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice, and that all who believe on Him are redeemed by His shed blood. We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ and His ascension into heaven.(Ephesians 2: 8, 9; Titus 3:15)

Divine Healing
We believe that God uses doctors, medicine and other material means for healing. However, we believe that divine healing has been provided for us in the Atonement of our Lord Jesus Christ. Divine healing may be received through the laying on of hands by elders, laying on of hands by believers, by the anointing with oil and the prayer of faith or by a direct act of faith where the believer receives healing from the Lord Jesus Christ without ministry from anyone. (Isaiah 53:5; James 5:14-16; Mark 16:18; I Corinthians 12:9; Mark 11:23)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit
Every person who has received Christ has done so by a work of the Holy Spirit. We believe, however, that there is a gift available to believers subsequent to the new birth — the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. In this baptism, Jesus, so immerses you in His Holy Spirit that you are filled to overflowing. There is a new power to be experienced (Acts 1:8) and the Holy Spirit is able to release His character and abilities in and through you. This baptism is a gift and is received by faith. It cannot be earned. (Acts 19:7; Acts 8:14-16)

Tithes & Offerings
We believe that God’s plan of finance for His work is by tithes and offerings and that it is a joy for His children to acknowledge His Lordship in this manner. (Malachi 3:6-12; Genesis 14:17-20; Hebrews 7:1-10; Matthew 23:23; II Corinthians 8 and 9; Acts 20:35)

The Ordinances
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local church: water baptism and the Lord’s supper. We believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water into the name of the triune God. Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38). We believe that the Lord’s supper was instituted as an act of remembrance of the saving work of Jesus Christ on the cross (1 Cor. 11:23-26). We believe that these two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4)

The Return of Jesus
We believe in the visible bodily return of Jesus Christ to this earth to gather His Church (bride) and judge the world. At a date undisclosed by scriptures, Jesus will return bodily to the earth to establish His Kingdom. (Acts 1:10-11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; II Thessalonians 1:7-10; James 5:8; Revelation 1:7)

Heaven & Hell
Heaven is the eternal dwelling place of all believers. The wicked will be judged and sent to Hell with the devil and the fallen angels. There they will be eternally, consciously tormented. (I Corinthians 5:1; Matthew 25:41)
