No Matter What

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” – Hebrews 12:1

Faith is not a one-time decision. It is a daily choice. Every morning, you wake up and the world will offer you reasons to worry, to doubt, and to pull back. Fear will try to get the last word. Discouragement will knock on the door. And in those moments, faith is a choice you make, not a feeling you wait for. This is what it looks like in real life. It means identifying where doubt has been speaking loudest and responding with trust instead. It means taking one concrete step toward what God has called you to, even when it is uncomfortable. It means replacing fear-filled words with faith-filled ones, and refusing to quit on what God has placed in your heart. You are not doing this alone. Right now, Jesus is at the right hand of the Father, interceding for you. He prayed for Peter before Peter even knew he needed it, and He is praying for you today. All of heaven is in your corner. So fix your eyes on Jesus. Not on the storm, not on the problem, not on what does not make sense yet. Him. And then make the choice, today and every day after: no matter what comes, you are going to trust Him.

Reflection Question

What is one specific area of your life where you need to stop letting fear have the last word and start making a daily choice to trust God instead?

Quote

“Faith does not ignore the reality of what you’re facing, but it aligns your focus to the reality of your God, that He is bigger than any problem.”

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for interceding for me even now. Help me to choose faith today, and every day, no matter what comes my way. I fix my eyes on You. Amen.
