‘But without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.’ – Hebrews 11:6

Every day, we make countless small decisions that either build up our spiritual foundation or chip away at it. The question isn’t whether we’ll serve something – we all do. The question is what we’ll choose to serve. Will it be our careers, our comfort, our fears, or our God? This year presents a fresh opportunity to make a decisive choice about where your allegiance lies. It’s time to stop the exhausting back-and-forth of turning to God when things get tough and turning away when life feels manageable. That kind of fair-weather faith leaves us spiritually weak and emotionally unstable. True commitment means choosing God not just in the storms, but in the sunshine too. It means making your relationship with Him non-negotiable, regardless of how you feel or what’s happening around you. When you fully commit to God, you’re not just changing your schedule – you’re changing your entire life trajectory. You’re saying that His ways are better than your ways, His timing is better than your timing, and His plans are better than your plans.
