“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” – Psalm 23:4

Life’s valleys can be intimidating. These low points – whether they’re health challenges, relationship struggles, or financial difficulties – can make us feel vulnerable and alone. But here’s the beautiful truth: valleys are not our final destination. They’re passages, not permanent residences. The Good Shepherd doesn’t abandon us in these dark places; He guides us through them. His presence transforms these valleys from places of fear into pathways of growth. When we’re walking with the Shepherd, even the darkest valley becomes a corridor to something better.

Reflection
What valley are you currently walking through, and how might viewing it as a passage rather than a destination change your perspective?

Quote
Valleys are places not to live, but a place of transition.

Prayer
Good Shepherd, thank you for your faithful presence in my valleys. Help me to trust Your guidance and remember that this is just a passage, not my permanent residence. Give me courage to keep moving forward with You. Amen.
