“For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.” – Matthew 12:34

Our words aren’t random – they’re like a window into our hearts. When we snap at someone in frustration or speak words of encouragement, we’re revealing what’s stored up inside us. It’s easy to blame our words on circumstances or others, but Jesus teaches us a profound truth: our words flow from what’s in our hearts. If we find ourselves consistently speaking negatively or harshly, it’s time for a heart check. The good news is that God is in the heart-transformation business. He can heal old wounds, replace bitterness with love, and fill us with His truth.
