“Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” – Acts 4:12

In our quest for spiritual fulfillment, we often try to add things to Jesus – religious practices, good deeds, or spiritual experiences. However, Jesus alone is sufficient for our salvation and spiritual growth. He is not merely fire insurance or one option among many – He is everything we need. When we truly understand this, it simplifies our faith and focuses our attention where it belongs: on Christ Himself. This doesn’t mean life becomes easier, but it becomes clearer as we realize that Jesus is not just part of the answer – He is the answer.

Reflection Question
What things have you been adding to Jesus in your spiritual life that might be distracting you from focusing solely on Him?

Quote
Jesus + nothing = everything. We don’t need to add anything else. Jesus is enough and he is all that we need.

Prayer
Jesus, help me recognize that You are enough. Remove anything I’ve added to my faith that distracts from You. Thank You for being all I need. Amen.
