“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” – Ephesians 2:9

One of the most liberating truths of Christianity is that we don’t have to earn God’s love or work our way to salvation. Unlike other religious systems that emphasize human effort, Jesus offers us a relationship based on grace. We don’t have to pray enough, give enough, or be good enough to deserve His love – He freely gives it to us. This doesn’t mean our actions don’t matter, but rather that our good works flow from our relationship with God instead of trying to earn it. When we truly grasp this truth, it transforms how we approach our faith and frees us to serve God from a place of love rather than obligation.

Reflection
How might your relationship with God change if you fully embraced the truth that His love can’t be earned but only received?

Quote
You cannot earn his love, you cannot earn his forgiveness. You can only receive it.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me rest in Your grace and stop trying to earn Your love. Thank You for loving me unconditionally. Let my actions flow from gratitude rather than obligation. Amen.
