“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” – 2 Timothy 3:16
Our spiritual life follows a simple principle: what we feed grows stronger, and what we neglect weakens. This truth applies to every aspect of our walk with God. When we consistently feed our spirit with God’s Word, prayer, and worship, our faith grows stronger. However, if we feed our doubts, fears, and worldly desires, these will dominate our lives. The choice of what we feed our spirit has lasting consequences. God’s Word provides the perfect nourishment for our spiritual growth, offering wisdom, strength, and guidance for every situation we face.
Reflection
What specific habits or influences in your life are currently feeding your spirit, and which ones might be starving it?
Quote
What we starve will die, but what we feed will thrive.
Prayer
Father, help me make wise choices about what I feed my spirit. Give me discipline to prioritize spiritual nourishment over worldly distractions. Guide me in establishing healthy spiritual habits. Amen.
