Questions About Membership?
We want the process of becoming a member at Fall Line to be simple and meaningful. Here are answers to a few questions you may have as you take your next step.
Do I have to become a member after attending Meet & Greet?
Not at all. Meet & Greet is simply an opportunity for us to get to know each other. You’ll meet some of our pastors and leaders, hear more about the heart and vision of Fall Line, and have an opportunity to ask questions. There’s no pressure or commitment.
Does attending Membership Class automatically make me a member?
No. Completing the class gives you the opportunity to become a member, but the decision is yours. We want membership to be a meaningful commitment, not simply another class you complete.
What does it mean to be a member of Fall Line?
Membership means choosing to make Fall Line your church home and actively participating in the life and mission of our church. It means growing in your relationship with Jesus, building relationships with others, serving with your gifts, living generously, and helping us reach people with the message of Jesus.
What if I’ve been attending Fall Line for a long time?
That’s great! Whether you’ve been here for a few weeks or a few years, the membership journey is the same. Meet & Greet and Membership Class give everyone a shared understanding of who we are, where we’re going, and what it means to call Fall Line home.
Do my spouse and I both need to attend?
If you both desire to become members, we encourage each of you to participate in Meet & Greet and Membership Class. Membership is an individual commitment, even when you’re taking the journey together as a family.
What if I’m not ready to become a member?
That’s completely okay. You’re welcome at Fall Line whether or not you’re ready for membership. Keep attending, get connected, join a group, serve, and take the time you need. When you’re ready to make Fall Line your church home, we’ll be here to help you take that step.
What happens after I become a member?
Membership isn’t the finish line—it’s a step toward deeper connection. We want to help you continue growing in your faith, build meaningful relationships, discover where you can serve, and use your life to make a difference.
