Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. – Hebrews 13:7

One of the most important aspects of hearing God’s voice is maintaining a humble heart. It’s okay to admit when we’ve misheard or misinterpreted what we thought God was saying. In fact, this humility is essential for growing in our ability to hear Him clearly. Learning to hear God’s voice is like learning any new skill – it takes practice, and yes, sometimes we’ll make mistakes. But these moments of missing it aren’t failures; they’re opportunities to learn and grow closer to Him. When we remain teachable and maintain a humble attitude, we create space for God to refine our ability to hear Him.

Stay humble and willing to admit when you miss it.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, grant me a humble heart that’s always ready to learn and grow. Help me to remain teachable and quick to admit when I’ve missed Your voice. Thank you for Your patience as I learn to hear You more clearly. Amen.
