“You have said, ‘I know you by name and you have found favor with me.’ 13 If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.” – Exodus 33:12b–13

Imagine having a best friend who wants to talk with you every single day, at any moment. That’s exactly the kind of relationship God desires with you. He’s not a distant deity who speaks only on special occasions; He’s a loving Father who has something to say to you every day. Sometimes it’s a gentle whisper of encouragement, other times it’s clear direction for an important decision. The key is recognizing that God’s desire to communicate with us is constant and consistent. He wants to be involved in every aspect of our lives, from the seemingly mundane to the monumentally important.

Reflection
What areas of your life have you hesitated to invite God into conversation about?

Prayer
Lord, thank you for wanting to be involved in every part of my life. Help me to recognize Your voice in both the big and small moments of my day. Open my heart to constant communion with You. Amen.
